I have a lot of athletes ask if they should skip a race if it falls in their marathon training plan. It is a tough decision if you really like to race. When you race, you are giving your best effort, which leaves you quite drained. The problem with this is that most races are on weekends. Weekends are usually when long training runs happen. Be safe. Be seen. Those are my two biggest concerns when I go running in the dark. With a full time job and kids in multiple sports, early morning or late evenings/nights are sometimes the only option for getting in my training runs. I like to think that I have a discerning pallet when it comes to beverages. I can wax poetic about the citrus notes in a west coast IPA, or the earthy undertones in a glass of red wine. When I was sent a case of Eternal Naturally Alkaline Spring Water to test and review, I was at a loss. How do I review water?
